Stars game at American Airlines center. We sat in the upper deck and had a clear view of the ice. Didn’t appear to be a bad seat in the stadium. Beer and Food runs a little higher than I expected $9 for a pint of Miller Lite and $11 for 24oz tall can. A lot of good variety in food around the stadium. We took the wrong escalator and had to walk all the way around the stadium before finding our seats. Parked in D garage and had a short walk to get to the stadium (maybe 200 yards). Getting out of the parking deck was the biggest issue. Traffic flow is controlled by police and their process held us up for about 30 minutes.
Pumped up madness!!
Nothing quite beats a playoff game. The lights, the fog, the music everything was so much fun. Even though the stars lost this particular game what an amazing feeling as a fan this venue and the whole show gave me. The only thing I would suggest is to have bigger seats. it felt like you were sitting in an airplane seat in coach class. it was hard to jump up and down without elbowing your neighbor. I am not a large person but there were larger people next to me either side and it was difficult for all of us. Charge more for the seats and make them bigger!
